+Can't change hotkey for command 545
[Shortcuts]
A+F7=545
A+S=545
and other combination...
But is the opening of the standard search box (not a separate).

I suppose, the reason is the missing command:

After I added it, hotkey assignment works fine.

Strange. I reconfigured them immediately after installing 8.50, now in my wincmd.ini they look like this:
and work exactly as they should: Alt+F7 opens the external Search tool, Alt+Shift+F7 opens the internal (modal) one.
Tested in Win7 SP1 x32 and x64, TC 8.50β1 x32 and x64.
Code: Select all
A+F7=cm_SearchStandalone
AS+F7=cm_SearchFor

Could you try reassigning Alt+F7 to some other command? Maybe, there is some system-wide hotkey processor that intercepts Alt-hotkeys?

Je demande pardon.
It was my resident script for modal search, that did not allow to reassign the keys.
No more questions, you can remove topic.
