-[8.50pb1 x64] file copy minus number

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-[8.50pb1 x64] file copy minus number

Post by *Laszlo »

It's a cosmetical (logical?) bug. At copy, when you copy for example 3 file, de file counter shows

-3 / 3.

Wouldn't be better like

1/3 or if you want to backcount 3/1 or 1of3?

-3 looks weird.

By the way, this new feature is cool :)

This isn't a bug - the minus sign means the remaining number of bytes/files, like in a countdown - t minus x seconds...

Any better ideas? 3/1 is even more illogical, it means 3 out of 1 files?!

I think that minus is suitable here. E.g. Winamp also uses minus to indicate that it displays remaining time. I think you can add a tooltip with value description ("Remaining files", "Remaining time").

Indeed a tooltip would be a nice addition!
