The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-[TC8.50b2a] search dialog to small for translations

Post by *Sir_SiLvA »

When you press (Shift+)Alt+F7 the search dialog
appears wich is to small if you want to use a
usefull translations for string 5638.
Please consider allowing more space for text.
TIA

@white: that was a copy&paste-with-fat-fingers-error, sorry4that

Just make the dialog a bit larger. It is so small to also fit on smaller screens.

That doesnt help at all... the window is maxed and if I use something
usefull like "Zip-Dokumente (zBsp. docx-, xlsx-, odt- und EPUB-Dateien)"
and not the default text it gets CUT OFF no matter how big the search window is...
Hoecker sie sind raus!

Just use something shorter, e.g.
zip-Dokumente (docx-, xlsx-, odt-, EPUB-Dateien)
