?tc8.5b2 and b3(not tested before) windows title discrepancy

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

?tc8.5b2 and b3(not tested before) windows title discrepancy

Post by *charly_35 »

LO,
When the "copy file" process has a question because of a problem (cannot read for exemple) the popup window asking for "skip, skip all , ..." has "delete:" in the title. I think it should be "copy:"
Regards
Charles.

Could it be that you tried to move a file? It's possible that TC could have copied it, but failed to delete the original because it was locked by some other process.

LO,
I just copy files, but some are unreadable.
Screen shot available if you want.

Yes, please give me more information, I could not reproduce the problem. Here is what I tried:

1. File in protected dir, e.g. c:\windows\temp -> cannot open
-> Title of error shows "Total Commander"
2. File locked in the middle, e.g. a database
-> Title of error also shows "Total Commander"
