+Different behaviour of searches if started in root of drive
Standard "old" search start with backslash in "Search in" field (after drive letter and colon) while "new" (separate) - without.

Indeed this isn't intentional. I will fix it. Never tried to search from the root, there are just too many files.

Can anyone verify this, please? Just go to the root of a drive and press Alt+Shift+F7. This should set the start path to c:\ with backslash now.
