-enlarge height of compress dialog box

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Because of new line entry I think the height can be a little bit longer.

I asked Chris this too and he said he wont do it.

Well this is why I don't think it makes much sense to invest time in suggestions for UI improvements - although they are really necessary in my opinion.

I tried but it looks ugly because of the extra space on the right between the groupbox where you choose the archive type, and the buttons.

@Chris: thats a VERY bad excuse....
just make the inputline as long as the dialog and have
checkboxes and radiodialog be next to each other....

then you can set the buttons on line down and every translator is happy....
