Nothing serious.
Anyway, I released new version.
VirtualPanel 2.0.7.1340:
+ plugin file name used as default root name
+ explorer: InverseSelection support
+ explorer: double buffering is now used
+ explorer: option to use Windows colors (faster)
* explorer: flickering split cursor fixed
* explorer: some color fixes
* explorer: if no selection, focused item is dragged
* explorer: sometimes focus rectangle disappeared after clicking some item
* truncate list file after writing
* fixed copy error in Windows 2000 (introduced in 2.0.6.1264)

I had the same problem as Faa ...
I have added for myself the file VP.txt (only example!) in VirtualPanel.ini under point "DefFileList="
Files copied to Virtual Panel are also shown in VP.txt (=> TC-Lister).
I think there was no VirtualPanel.ini in wfx_VirtualPanel_2.0.6.1264 and nothing had to be defined in this previous version.
So for me, I think up from this version someone had to define Path and File in VirtualPanel.ini to keep files and folders copied to VirtualPanel.
Regards,
Karl
This problem did not exist in wfx_VirtualPanel_2.0.6.1264.after close tc all files and dir are gone in vp dir

and all files and folders are kept in VP directory.DefFileList=D:\Daten\Programme\Total Commander\TCD_USB-Stick\TC32-64USB\Plugins\wfx\VirtualPanel\VP.txt

Hmm, I see now about what you're talking guys. During installation VP 2.0.7.1340 creates VirtualPanel.ini in its folder (with empty values including state file path - TC loads module to ask for default root name and doesn't configure it) while 2.0.6.1264 doesn't. I'll check the code, thanks.
If you delete or clear this file before loading plugin it saves configuration correctly (with default path to state file in Windows temporary folder) in TC default configuration file for FS plugins (fsplugin.ini). Keep in mind that if you have VirtualPanel.ini in plugin folder, it stores configuration in that file instead of TC default one.

I've released updated version, it doesn't create misconfigured VirtualPanel.ini. Thank you both again.
You can remove VirtualPanel.ini from VP folder (before loading VP) to get it properly initialized. Then don't forget to set preferred options (autosave interval, path to state file etc).
VirtualPanel 2.0.7.1354:
* explorer: sometimes item filled with inversed color after hovering it
* explorer: use proper default text and background colors if not set in TC
* plugin placed misconfigured VirtualPanel.ini to its folder during installation (introduced in 2.0.7.1330)

You must hold Shift when you click Yes in confirmation dialog (not when you press Delete button) because plugin receives control only after that.shift+delete? it doesn't work.
Yes, it is default path (which is always writeable) but it is better to store state in another place (because it is a temporary folder which may be cleaned by some tools).shift+delete? it doesn't work.
Could it be possible to not have any virtualpanel.ini created in VPFolder during installation.MVV wrote: VirtualPanel 2.0.7.1354:

I use "VirtualPanel.ini" with a bunch of setting and each time i install new VP version my setting are overwritten.
