32 bit 6.50 b5 on Windows 8
I do Commands - Search and do a search that does not return any files, press Cancel, and do Commands - Search again. The search dialog appears without the area for search results and I guess this is correct.
When I try to drag the border of the dialog, it drags but immediately returns to the original position producing flicker on screen. The following does not depend on the border being dragged or not, but I believe it is the same bug.
Next I do a search that finds files for sure (*) and the area with results appears but it is very narrow so that the only line it displays is a bit truncated.
A guy next to me does not have this on XP.

I'm sorry, I had to do this to work around the Windows 8 bug with maximizing non-full-height windows.

There may be a short time fix (ignoring resizing while in smaller format) and a long time fix (a user suggested how to better restrict the dialog size), but they will both need a lot of testing, so I cannot promise anything yet.

BTW yesterday I installed Win2012 to VM and noticed that bug. I do some search, see only one truncated results line, resize dialog and then doubleclick any item, then press Alt+F7 again and see that window looks just like for new search (w/o results at all) and I need to resize window to see results.
