?[8.50b7] Subst drive not detected

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

I created a SUBST on drive C: as follows:

SUBST D: C:\

8.5b6 on Win8.1 recognizes D:
8.5b7 on Win8.1 does not

8.5b6 on Win7 recognizes D:
8.5b7 on Win7 recognizes D:

All Windows versions 64bit, all TC versions 32bit

Nothing was changed between beta 6 and 7 which could cause that - at least I'm not aware of any such change. Did you run b7 with other user rights than the SUBST command?
