+Files are not copied after selection with shift+F2

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

+Files are not copied after selection with shift+F2

Post by *juno12 »

Connect smartphone (Samsung S4) to PC
Compare directory (camera) on HD and smartphone using shift+F2
Some files are selected
Press F5 -> Copy-Dialog -> Press OK -> nothing happens

Select manually same files
Press F5 -> Copy-Dialog -> Press OK -> files are copied

The problem exists since 8.5b1

Any idea what is going wrong?

BTW I just had login problems with firefox25!?

Not confirmed. However, I noticed that the function doesn't work when a lot of files (a few 100) are selected, no idea why. It simply fails inside Windows without any warning.

OK, I finally found the problem! It doesn't work when the cursor (current file) is on the updir entry [..]! I will fix it in the next beta.

Just tested in beta 11 and seems to work fine, had a folder with 168 files on my phone and used Shift+F2 while on [..] and then F5 to copy and it started copying.
