Due to the addition of the option "same plugin fields", the help text about Find duplicate files options is no longer correct.

Duplicate file finder

Searches the given directories for files which have the same name, size, and/or same contents. Only files occurring multipe times will be shown, grouped together by same files, and separated by a dashed line.

This is no longer correct and 'multiple' is spelled incorrectly.

same name

If checked, files will only be compared if they have the same name. If unchecked, the option 'same size' must be checked. Not checking 'same name' is useful to find e.g. identical backup copies.

This is no longer correct.

If 'same name' is checked, the files will be sorted by name, otherwise by size, so identical files can be grouped together.

This also is no longer true.

I tried to make a better help text. I hope this saves you some time.

Find duplicate files

Search for files which have the same name, same size, same contents, or same content plugin property, or any combination of these. In the results the duplicates are grouped together and the groups are separated by dashed lines. The groups are sorted by the first enabled search criteria (if 'same name' is enabled: sort by name, otherwise if 'same size' or 'same contents' is enabled: sort by size, otherwise if 'same plugin fields' is enabled: sort by first plugin field).

same name

If enabled, check if files have the same size.

same size

If enabled, check if files have the same size.

same contents

If enabled, check if files have the same contents. Although this takes long, it ensures that the files are 100% identical.

same plugin fields

If specified, check if files have the same specified content plugin properties (e.g. extension, time stamp etc). If multiple plugin properties are specified, all of them must be identical (ANDing). Also supports value ranges, e.g. [=tc.name:1-3] will match just the first 3 characters of the name.
Note: The option "Any identical" (ORing) would not be possible, because then from three files, files 1 and 2 could be have the same property A, file 2 and 3 could have the same property B, and files 1 and 3 could be different.

In the description I used "plugin properties" instead of "plugin fields". I'm not sure what term you prefer. You seem to use both terms. On the next tab (Plugins), you use the term property. Perhaps it is better to rename the option "same plugin fields" into "same plugin properties".

Also, I found an error in the text I made:
