1) When finding files that contain specific text, the "Unicode" checkbox must be properly set, otherwise find fails. Since the lister can already correctly detect Unicode files, would it be possible to implement this in Find Files as well? I realize that the setting may still need to be enabled manually for binary files which happen to contain unicode text, but for HTML, XML and other text-only documents automatic detection would work, *and* it would be possible to find text in unicode and non-unicode files at the same time.
2) Settings are not preserved in Find Files dialog box from one search to another. This might be annoying in some cases, but often would be useful. Today for example I am repeatedly looking for text in a large number of unicode XML files - and every time I have to check "Unicode" and "Case sensitive" manually. It would help a lot if TC had an option to let the user decide whether settings in the Find Files dialog should be retained or cleared between searches. If settings are retained, there could also be a hotkey to clear all options, but that's icing on the cake :)
Also, item (2) would indirectly improve the behavior in (1), without implementing auto Unicode detection.
Thanks a lot for TC!
