I use the drive letter box frequently to switch between aliased project folders of multiple projects.
Unfortunately the A-Z drive letter limit of Windows is very limiting.
Could you please make this limit extendable by allowing the user to configure mappings of digits (and possibly other non A-Z characters/keys such as F1 to F12) to folders ?
I know that the F1-F12 keys have other special functions in TC, but when the drive box is open, it can override those functions.

- This topic is a request and not about a bug so it's not in the appropriate sub-forum.
- You can mount any partition/drive in an NTFS folder using Windows' Drive Management.
- You can use the Directory List in TC (Ctrl+D) to jump to any folder (i.e. the partitions/drives mounted in the NTFS folders) - and extend the "maximum drives limit" this way.

I was already aware of the ability to map any partition/drive to an NTFS folder in Windows Drive Management and the Ctrl-D directory list, but the point is that using those methods is too slow for power users.
I use the Alt-F1 and Alt-F2 followed by a drive letter key press to rapidly change between network drives mapped to drive letters using subst.
Now if those drive letters can be extended into digits and other unique single character/keypress aliases, that would be really nice power feature.

perlcoder,
You can add an ampersand character before letter that you want to make shortcut letter in Ctrl+D menu, so you will only need to press Ctrl+D and then that shortcut letter (it will be displayed underscored). E.g. name hotlist item as Do&cuments and open it then using Ctrl+D and C.
