[Wish] Choose the plugin you want to use with the lister
Hi,
Now that more and more plugins are available, several plugins address the same types of files (e.g. SynUs and IEView both address HTML files).
Would it be possible to add an option to let the user choose which plugin he/she wants, when more than one are available, instead of choosing the first one ?
I think the first plugin found from the list is found, and it's possible to change the list order, but it's not so convenient, and there are cases where it's not enough.
Regards,
Geoffrey

very good idea !!
Lister is able to recognize the type of file to display and the plugin to activate, and adapts the Options menu - item n° 4 according to the activated plugin.
why not build a submenu in Options -> 4, allowing to choose the plugin to activate, when the type of file is associated to several plugins ?

You can already use the '4' key to cycle through all installed plugin which support the specific file type. I think that this is faster than a submenu to the '4' menu item...

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Not Obvious
While you can do this, it is not *obvious* and therefore subject to a) never being discovered and b) easily forgotten. You can already use the '4' key to cycle through all installed plugin which support the specific file type
