Running on win7 ultimate 64bit

Having both tortoisegit and tortoisesvn installed

Problem: all file with .xml extension do not show the icon overlay in totalcmd, while they do display it correctly in explorer

Please check in the settings of tortoise, there is an option to show overlays only in Explorer.

I have got the same problem. Overlay icons are shown in TC very well, but not for .xml-files. They are displayed properly in Windows Explorer.

I've added test.xml file into GIT repository, and I see overlay plus icon.
Win7x64, TCx32, 32-bit TortoiseGIT with disabled option to show overlays in Explorer only.

Maybe there is another icon overlay shell extension installed especially for .xml which returns an empty overlay icon? If this extension has higher priority than TortoiseGIT, then the icon from that extension will be shown. You can test this by disabling other overlay extensions with ShellExView.
