Hi,
Problem using Auto Refresh in config > Refresh > Only checked "Refresh when files are created, deleted and renamed"
Using a drag'n drop software to wipe files (Mooo File Shredder), when files / folders are deleted TC panels don't refresh. In TC 7.56 and 8.01 it was working fine even if TC was not the active window.
I have to click on TC Window or icon in taskbar to refresh panels.
When using Windows explorer to move files it's working fine, and refresh is done like in TC 8.01.

Sorry, I do not understand the problem. How can I reproduce it without this wipe program?
I tried this:
1. Opened a text file in notepad, used "Save as" to save under a different name -> it did appear in Total Commander also when it didn't have the focus.
2. Opened a text file in notepad, opened "Save as" dialog, right click on file and shift+deleted it -> it disappeared from TC.
Only checked "Refresh when files are created, deleted and renamed" .

Hi Christian,
Since your message, I tried to reproduce it in other way.
I used this plugin http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/wipe_fs.html and get the same behavior, deleted files didn't refresh in TC panel.
It's working fine with TC 7.56a and TC 8.01.
I have also tested some external rename tools, explorers, but it seems the problem only occurs with "wipe" tools.
Note : tested with Mooo FileShredder and Wipe plugin for TC, same problem.

I found a situation where update notifications were lost. Please try again with beta 2.

I will move this bug report to "fixed bugs" if there are no objections.
