Hello,

TC does not report invalid regexes in Find Files (and Lister). Moreover the Find Files is extremely slow in this case. Try this:

- ALT+F7
- clear Search for if not empty
- uncheck Search archives
- check Find text and enter some invalid regex, eg [
- check RegEx
- click Start search

It seems that any input accepting regexes does not validate them.

Same applies when doing a regex search for file names, see here. (also same for searching with regex in content plugin fields)

Moreover the Find Files is extremely slow in this case.

Probably as slow as searching for "thisstringprobablyisntfound".
