Hello,
TC does not report invalid regexes in Find Files (and Lister). Moreover the Find Files is extremely slow in this case. Try this:
- ALT+F7
- clear Search for if not empty
- uncheck Search archives
- check Find text and enter some invalid regex, eg [
- check RegEx
- click Start search
It seems that any input accepting regexes does not validate them.
Thanks, Tomas

Same applies when doing a regex search for file names, see here. (also same for searching with regex in content plugin fields)fleggy wrote:TC does not report invalid regexes in Find Files (and Lister).
Probably as slow as searching for "thisstringprobablyisntfound".fleggy wrote:Moreover the Find Files is extremely slow in this case.

I will move this bug report to "fixed bugs" if there are no objections.
