Here someone seems to have the same problem:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19816798/
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=61934
It seems to be caused by a bug (or new misfeature?) in the latest Google Play services. Strangely I don't get this error on my Nexus 7, so I cannot check whether the suggested fix would help to add:
<uses-permission android:name="com.google.android.providers.gsf.permission.READ_GSERVICES" />
Does anyone here have this problem too and would like to test this?

Hallo,

This error means that the Internet connection to Google Drive was lost during the transfer.

Indeed they seem to have fixed it in play services 4.0.33!
There is a new version of the plugin available now (via "+" button - beta) which supports more than 100 files in each folder.

A new version of the plugin is available now which corrects a bug when trying to upload an entire folder with files/folders inside (which fails). The new version is currently available via direct download only, but will be in the Play Store too very soon.

I'm having trouble uploading folders with files, they are created (MKDIR) but they remain empty on Google Drive (after LIST, nothing is done with the contents of the folder, the process just continues with the next selected item). If I go inside the folder and copy the contents from there, that works fine with the files, but the same thing happens with next level of folders (they are created empty, then skipped).
At first I thought this was caused by the latest update (1.04), but after reinstalling the previous version (1.03) the same thing occurs.
The only other change recently was that I re-formatted one SD-card partition from FAT to ext2 (the issue occurs with the ext2 source, it doesn't occur with the FAT source). Could this be a problem with permissions? (in TC there is an option to use 'root functions', but I didn't find such option in the plugin). The issue doesn't occur locally (I can copy folders and files without problems between partitions), only when copying to Google Drive.
Using TC 2.04, GD-plugin 1.04, on a rooted phone, Android 2.3.6 stock.

I have just tried this, but I had no problems to upload an entire folder with files and subfolders to Google Drive.
Does anyone else have this problem?
