Hello,
I guess this has been asked many times, even tried searching, but didn't find this exact problem.
I am using a vista x64 businness at work with TC x64 since ages, works fine. Using autodesk inventor 2010, which has some right click menu entries/handlers. all worked fine.
Now we're moving to inventor 2014 and i got a new computer, and (finally) we're moving to windows 7 x64 professional as well.
Now i am facing this problem, that the inventor context menus are completely missing in TC. See this image.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Missing context menu handlers on TC x64 for autodesk inventor 2014

yeah, i sort of agree with you and sure every time their sh** crashes on me they get some "feedback"... *evil*
they (autodesk) have hardcoded settings for their stuff to use internet explorer (even their crash reports open in ie...), completely ignoring the system default browser... and hardcoded use of excel...
but the version 2010 is working with both vista x64 and win7 x64. and even this version works properly with the 32bit TC as you see on the image. so it's not quite like their handlers only work in explorer, because TC can use them, so there is a way. i just don't know if the 32bit tc sees those handlers and uses them properly (under the X64 menu), then why the native 64bit version wouldn't?
oh well... if nothing works out i'll have to use the 32bit version of tc.

The difference between the x64 submenu and the rest of the context menu is that the x64 submenu is created "manually" by TC - it loads each shell extension separately and asks it for the extensions. The main part of the context menu is created by the system via QueryContextMenu.

Since they show up in the X64 submenu, you can use this trick:
1. rename tcmdx64.exe to tcmdx32.exe
2. add the line
x64menu=1
to wincmd.ini section [Configuration]
This will show an "x32" submenu in the 64-bit context menu, which is normally meant to show 32-bit entries in the 64-bit menu. But with the above trick, you will get the 64-bit entries again in the x32 submenu.
