I tried several different lines in the start of the file and in both panels.

I get a Windows dialog box that first says:

Total Commander has stopped working
Windows is seaching for a solution to the problem

and a green progress bar for 10 seconds
Then it shows:

A problem has caused the the program to stop functioning correctly. Windows will close the program and give you a notice if a solution is found.

Sorry, no crash so far although I tried dozens of times. But nothing is copied either. I can only hope that my fix for the missing clipboard data will also fix your crashes.

That was in the 32bit version - Just to make sure you got it right - it is the 64bit version that crashes

Compare two files by content.
Switch mode to binary.
Compare.
Select one or more lines.
Right click marked line(s).
Copy selection to clipboard.

If select ANSI side : Crash
If select Unicode (UTF-16) side : Clipboard contains nothing
If select Unicode MacOS side : Clipboard contains nothing
If select UTF-8 side : Clipboard contains a space ' '
