-bookmark: FTP site+path as destination require password

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-bookmark: FTP site+path as destination require password

Hi, please, forgive me if it's my fault...

TC: 8.51b2 (but was present before)

open an ftp connection (a STORED one, complete with stored password)

Bookmark an ftp folder (Ctrl-D or '*', it doesn't matter)

close ftp connection

try to use Ctrl-D to re-open the connection.
password is asked again, if you use folder's history (Alt-Down or similar), the ftp site and folder are re-opened without password requirements.

I don't know if it's by design or it's my fault. :) (Yes, I know that in ftp connection management a destination folder can be stored, but I've got different destination folder for the same connection, so I've tried to use a source+destination bookmark combo, btw, it doesn't work even w/o destination specified).

Marco.

It's not a bug: The history also stores the name of the stored connection, so when you go back to it and the master password is still stored (or you don't use the master password), then the connection will be re-established automatically. But Ctrl+D does not store the connection name.
