Command line shortcut handling

Post by *mn »

Please think of better handling of shortcuts at command line. I use T for creating new tabs and when I write some command at command line in TC, it creates a new tab when I press T. This is not expected behaviour for me and I think for other people too.

It would be nice to explain the situation precisely instead of just complaining.

I guess you have created your own shortcut.
Instead make a shortcut with Alt or Ctrl or Alt/Ctrl+Shift.
Keys are recognized no matter whether you are in file pane or command line.
But I agree that when you are in command line such shortcuts with single key or with Shift should be ignored.

Yes, exactly.
I defined my own shortcuts without ctrl/alt/shift. And I just don't want to use alt/ctrl commands because of it's faster to use single key...
