Ctrl + B not working

Ctrl+Shift+B Shows the files in the directory under cursor. New behavior
but
Ctrl+B lost functinality

is it only me or is this a bug??

Cannot confirm that Ctrl-B (branchview) does not work any longer. The opposite is true, it works as designed.

Total Commander 7.55a
Windows 7 Enterprise, 32-bit

Maybe in your case, some other software is "stealing" Ctrl-B at a systemwide scope. Or you yourself have redefined Ctrl-B to do something else inside your Total Commander?

Ctrl+B has not been changed. Maybe you have assigned some other command to it in Configuration - Options - Misc?

Is there a command to list directories? Like it's Ctrl+B for files, is there an equivalent for dirs?

Use Alt+F7 and enable checkboxes Attributes and Directory on Advanced tab. Search and feed to listbox.
