-Rename/Move of DLLs takes a long time

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-Rename/Move of DLLs takes a long time

Post by *Horst.Epp »

TC 8.51 b5 x64 under Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

Rename/Move of DLLs takes a long time,
I can see every file while they are moved.
That only happens with DLLs not with other file types.
I switched off the Antivirus but that doesn't help.
Copying the same files runs fast.
If source and target are on different volumes it runs fast !

Edit
After an reboot the problem no longer exist.

It was probably the virus scanner - the same would probably happen with EXE files too: Some scanners look on the Internet for revoked certificates when an EXE/DLL is digitally signed. This can take several seconds if the server doesn't react.
