-TC 8.5 RC1 and older: folders on mobile devices load slowly

Hi,

When I use TC to read files from my phone (through USB connection), the pictures folder can take up to 40 seconds to load (cold start) - all this time TC becomes unresponsive.

The same folder opens with windows explorer much faster, almost instantaneously, because it loads the files progressively (it takes roughly the same 40 seconds to show all the files).

Can this be sped up in any way?
