Oh, not this way, please! I would always confuse it with HxD and try to copy with Ctrl+C what is selected. I'd prefer Ctrl+C to copy the "main" selection (text or hex), and Ctrl+Shift+C — the alternative representation (respectively, hex or text).

WinHex does always binary copy on Ctrl+C (i.e. text copy if text is selected) and ASCII hex values on Ctrl+Shift+C regardless of cursor position. So HxD way is fully incompatible with it and will cause mess too...

It seems that we need another INI option for chosing Ctrl+C and Ctrl+Shift+C behaviour. Actually Ctrl+C should always copy text by default because older versions did so.

yup, I agree; keep what is there now and add copy of Hex values with "Shift"

In Lister, in HEX view it would be useful if when you select a part of a text, the respective HEX part was also somehow indicated (selected/underlined with the same selection color) and vice-versa.
