When i launch TC my default view is the right view. On the other view the very first icon (in my case of $RECYCLE.BIN, and only the icon not the text) has the background color as being that the cursor is on it. when i just press tab 2x it is gone.

After test, this problem will happen on the first directory (not [..]) of ROOT.
And the directory attributes need to include "Read only(r)" or "System(s)".

If selected Use inverted cursor, will more clear.

If not selected Use inverted cursor, TC 851rc1 32bit can not see this problem.

Confirmed when starting TC with the /P=R parameter.

I can confirm this bug in another case: focus right panel and then click outside TC (make TC inactive) and then activate it back by clicking right panel. Left panel's focused item icon will be redrawn with inversed fill (I'm using inversed cursor too). You can even play the game: click left panel, then click outside TC, then click right panel, then again outside TC and repeat.
