It is, but now that I'm digging a little deeper, I can't ping my pc (from my phone). Not a good sign.

Yeah, it was the firewall all along. Which is weird, because I wasn't having connectivity problem from other pc's... Fixed it. Working perfectly now.
Perhaps it's a good idea to make these error messages more descriptive.

Well, I'm not sure if this is related, but I'm getting a log of "error writing to target file!" for no good reason. Wi-Fi connection is stable, pc at the other end is rock solid.
Can TC at least try again before displaying a (again) generic error message?

And a very long cryptic "Error connecting to server" message. (so you *can* be verbose). But try again and it works beautifully.
This is why software (software in general, which includes TC

) should ALWAYS try again before distracting the user with an error message.
