Sorry - "comparison" is not the right word. It should only display the data - the user has to compare for its own.slartus wrote:...Describe how you see the result of comparison
Usage:
- open a list
- select a file
- click "Try to display current data"
- the software try to check current data. If found, it inserts the "current data" beneath the selected line and displays them, using a different background color and/or font.
OK?
Have a nice weekend.

a) Bug?
- I made a DIR-file with "dir *.*" on german keyboard
- opened it
- exported it to DISKDIR with encoding "EUROPE"
- and crashed TC with double-click on the DISKDIR-file.
Why?
The exported file has no CR/LF - it is only one line long.
Bug or wrong usage of wrong encoding?
b) Bug?!
- I opend DOS / CMD window.
- I use codepage 437
- I make a DIR file
- everything fine, BUT the german Umlaute ä ö ü Ä Ö Ü are wrong in DIR-file
- I open it in Filelistviewer: the structure is fine, but the names with Umlaute are wrong
- I change to codepage 1252 (german)
- I make a DIR file
- everything fine, AND the german Umlaute ä ö ü Ä Ö Ü are fine in DIR-file
- I open it in Filelistviewer: the structure is wrong (no structure), but the names with Umlaute are fine.
