not deleting file with è on a website per ftp

Hello there, I am member sinds a long time, but now i had to register again ??
no matter is not importent

On my website i had a file with in its filename è
With TTC i could not delete this.
As i am with 1and1.fr and they recomment FileZilla a gave it a try

And YES i could delete the file?

BUG ????

It's an encoding problem - either your site uses UTF-8 and TC uses ANSI, or vice versa.

Try changing the encoding in Ctrl+F - Edit connection - first to UTF-8, and if it fails, to ANSI.
