delete Files in Background doesn't work for second Process

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

delete Files in Background doesn't work for second Process

Post by *data.enterprise »

Using TC 8.51a
Deleting Files in Background with Standard Methode (no Standard-Explorer Methode aktivated) works for the first time fine.

While deleting a couple of files, selecting another Dir for Deleting, there ist noch Background-Button - until an Information window appears (maybe telling something about "really deleting hidden/System files") - now you can switch the second Deleting-Process to Background.

The backgound button isn't shown while TC is counting files for the progress bar.

No, Christian I don't think so.
The Backgroung Button appears at once for the first selection to delete. While deleting these files in Background, select another Dir and delete it. This time there is no Background-Button. Klick OK and deleting starts. So you have one process in Background and one in front. If one of the second file-Group to delete is maybe hidden, you get a request if you really want to delete. Since this Dialog you can move the second delete-Process to Background also.
Maybe it's my harmful Translation making it not really clear. (change to german?) Or may need a PSR-Report?

best regards

That's odd, I will try to reproduce it.
