I've connected my Galaxy S5 phone to my computer. Windows Explorer finds it as a Portable Media Player. The path in explorer is Computer\S5\Phone\.
In TC, I can find the drive by going to 'Computer (Drive Overview)' in the panel dropdown. I can then browse the drive, also copy files and delete files. But I cannot search, and I cannot view file-contents by pressing F3. The error I get is 'Search Path not found!'. It seems TC is treating each subfolder as an individual unc-path. i.e The root-dir is \\Phone\ , when I go to the sub-directory 'DCIM', TC will list it as \\DCIM\ , instead of \\Phone\DCIM\. I don't know if that's part of the problem.
I also don't know if this is a problem with all Android-devices or not. It would be nice If someone else could test this with different smartphones and tell me if they get the same problems with search and lister-functionality.
Search and lister not working when viewing S5 PhonePartition
