ORF / RAW files with Imagine image viewer / lister plugin

Hi, I'm running TC 8.51, 64-bit on Win8.1, with Imagine 1.09 (64bit) installed.

F3 and CTRL-Q work fine with JPEG, PNG, etc., but not with ORF RAW files.

Imagine says they support RAW and ORF in 1.09, but TC just loads the standard text lister when I hit F3 on an ORF file.

How can I tell TC to use Imagine for ORF files?

EDIT: I just upgraded TC to 8.51, no diff.

Are you able to see your ORF RAW files using stand-alone Imagine.exe program from Imagine package?

Hi,

If I run Imagine64.exe (or imagine.exe from the 32-bit plugin), it does NOT show any ORF files in it's built-in browser.

If I go to the File Associations setting in Imagine, it does not list ORF.

However, if I go to Windows' file association settings, ORF is listed (associated with RawTherapee).

Also, XnView (standalone, I don't have the TC plugin installed) does display ORFs, fwiw.

In the Imagine browser/standalone, if I turn off 'show supported files only', then the ORFs appear in the file browser, but it does not preview or view them; it will only open RawTherapee.

You need to have the Digital Camera Raw Image Format Plugin installed.

It works now.

If anyone from Imagine reads this, please add this information to the Readme.txt file; right now it just says:

"- Support for digital camera raw image file formats:
3FR, ARW, CR2, CRW, DNG, ERF, KDC, MRW, NEF, ORF, RAF, RAW, SRW, SR2, etc."

with no mention of needing another plugin.

Hi, fwiw, TC (8.51, 64-bit, Win8.1) is very unstable with the RAW plugin added to Imagine; after viewing RAW (ORF) files, TC will frequently crash when attempting a Delete or rename.

Removing the RAW plugin for Imagine 'fixes' the problem.
