The right pane is in quick view mode showing the "content" of the deleted file.
I have to manually refresh the list before it is gone.

Sorry, I do not quite understand your report. Here is what I tried, but the file is removed from the list just fine:
1. Make auto-refresh settings as in your first image
2. View file with Ctrl+Q
3a. Delete with Del, Enter
3b. Delete with Shift+Del, Enter
3c. Delete with right click menu - Delete
In all 3 cases, the file disappears from the list, and the quick view panel shows the contents of the next file.

You understood correctly. The quick pane was on at all times and deleting the file didn't refresh the list as it should do according to the settings.
I "solved" it by restarting TCMD. I suspect it had been loaded for too long. Memory usage was 194 MB. I can't think if anything other. The settings were the same and so the directory. It contains a lot of files ~9000. Could be part of the problem too. I know, I need to clean that "Temp" dir up.. : ) Thanks for the greatest OFM.
