New beta plugin available: Google Drive

I have just tried it with Internal storage, and the same thing occurs: attempting to copy /app from /data/app to ///GoogleDrive/userid/xyz results in empty ///GoogleDrive/userid/xyz/app folder with nothing inside it copied.
This seems to reinforce my suspicion that it's due to permissions (ext2 linux-style permissions vs. FAT32-style).
Like I said, copying from SDcard (which is FAT32 formatted) to GoogleDrive works without issues. And copying that /app folder from Internal storage to SDcard also works without issues.

Yes, you cannot copy from restricted locations to plugins, because they are not supporting root functions. However, reading from SD-Card usually doesn't require root, so there must be a permissions problem.

Yes, this is planned, but I haven't figured out yet how to do this with the available functions.

Google Drive and new Drive plugin installed
I can't find a way to remove/uninstall the old Google Drive plugin.
Please help.

I figured out how to get rid of the old Google Drive plugin!
I simply had to go into the phone's settings for apps, and I found it listed, just waiting to be uninstalled.
Please help.

Re: Google Drive and new Drive plugin installed
Use the TC function "Installed apps" and you will find it.grossdm wrote:I can't find a way to remove/uninstall the old Google Drive plugin.

Thanks for the recommendation!Horst.Epp wrote: Use the TC function "Installed apps" and you will find it.
I'm sorry, but I wasn't able to find the TC function "Installed apps".
I'm sure you know this, but just to be clear I am using the Android version.
