Search Files bug (undesired .ZIP .RAR files match filter)?

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Search Files bug (undesired .ZIP .RAR files match filter)?

Post by *theflyinghawk »

Hi
I am using TC8.51a64b on a Windows 7 notebook.

I search for files according to this filter:
~*.*; *.bak; *.tmp; plot.log; thumbs.db; aclt.err; acltstk.dmp; *.SV$
on disk c:

Once the search is done I only see file matching the filter I used.
If I feed the listbox I also see .ZIP and .RAR files.
I can even select and delete them...

If I do the same with a 32b on another pc, this doesn't happen...

What is wrong with it?

Tnx, Enjoy

I guess you have set "Search archives" in the search criteria
Then the archives with matching files inside are listed.
