Hello tobbbie
Hmm interesting theory that intentional does not come the prompt on the phone. If I had not believed to date at Huawei ...
I thank you for the tip. A CustomRom there (unfortunately still) not for my phone model
Hallo tobbbie

Can't transfer from PC to Phone of files large than 2GB
Android ADB 7.4 plugin bug:
Can't transfer correct from PC to Phone of files larges than 2GB: Adb.exe automatic change file’s name (with extension: FFFFFFFFA0E7AB9E.tmp) and move to root in sd card.
My system: Windows Pro 8.1 with media centure, x64bit, 7GB RAM, Total Commander 8.51a, ADB Android 7.4 plugin, Smartphone JiaYu G5S+, android 4.4, 16 GB SD Card (14GB free), 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM

TC Synchronize Dirs
I sync the file, but the file time on the device becomes equal to the current time, not the time of the original file.4.7
- Update: Busybox ls uses the "-e" parameter to return full time. Parser update. Fixes an issue with TC Synchronize Dirs... (fully working now)
Please add the ability to change the time of the file on the device.
For example:
Code: Select all
# busybox touch -t 200911031512.05 test.txt
# busybox ls -lea
drwxrwxr-x 2 0 1015 4096 Mon Oct 27 09:51:30 2014 .
drwxrwxr-x 76 0 1015 4096 Mon Oct 27 09:50:08 2014 ..
-rw-rw-r-- 1 0 1015 12 Tue Nov 3 15:12:05 2009 test.txt

Changing the file timestamp unfortunately requires root rights on Android. It has been a known bug for many versions, but Google seems to be unwilling to fix it:

Hi everyone
I am new to this subject but it seems I have followed the guide to the letter. Still, something does not work.
I have tried installing the plugin and followed instructions
On my android 4.1.2, i have installed the fantastic 3c toolbox, which has a wifi adb option.
So I turned it on and copied the address it poppeded up to network neighbourhood "connect to a device" (the device itself did not appear) - and nothing happened.
What can I do to make it work?

Have you checked whether your PC has detected the ADB connection to your Note 2?nak71 wrote:Hi,
Why my TC didn't detect my Samsung Note 2 ?
You can simply check this by finding the folder where adb.exe is in, this could be for example:
c:\totalcmd\plugins\wfx\ADB\bin\
Then open a prompt and type
adb devices
It should look like this
Code: Select all
C:\totalcmd\plugins\wfx\ADB\bin>adb devices
List of devices attached
55af11ad7a device

Have you checked whether the ADB connection is shown in the Device manager?
Go to Start -> Run, type "hdwwiz.cpl" (that opens the device manager9. Alternatively you can find the device manager via your System properties dialog.
Does the ADB connection show up when you plug your Note2?
For my Galaxy S4 it looks like this:

In case it does not turn up, you need to find the USB Drivers for your Samsung phone.
Try these:
http://developer.samsung.com/technical-doc/view.do?v=T000000117
SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.zip (25.32MB)
good luck, hth
Error uploading file
It seems that uploads to my external SD card do not work. It progresses to 100% and then there is an error "Error uploading file!". This is what I see in the log:

My system SGS2 / CM11 (Android 4.4.4)
My external SD card is formatted as exfat. (As a workaround for so called FPBug, for which there is a fix now btw...) Upload to internal SD card works.
When I try to mv file from internal to external SD card in the console on the phone, I get: "Cross device link" error. I can cp the file without any problem. And mv -f does not seem to be supported, "-f" is just assumed to be the first argument. I can mv a file within any sd card.
Edit: As a workaround, I can set "Threshold to use SDCard for copying large files to device" to some high value, say 100000. Then the file is copied directly to the external sd card and it works.
