I noticed today when moving a file or folder that although the file system permissions are properly transferred, but the file ownership of the file is inherited from the parent folder. The Windows Explorer works differently and maintains the file ownership. Is it possible to speak of an bug or a desired function at this point? Especially when working with quotas on a Windows server, this distorts everything.
I tested with Windows 7/2008 R2 and Total Commander 7.56, 8.01, 8.51a 32 Bit. All the same.
Best regards

Currently TC supports the following options:
XPMoveMethod=
1: When moving files within a drive, the permissions of the target folder are used
2: As 1, but when moving folders, all files and subfolders in them are changed to the target permissions too
0: The permissions of the files are kept
