The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

I try to FTP transfer one file ( 5.6GB '.mkv' )

I want a good FTP program.
so I test several-FTP-programes. with 5.6GB movie file.

But..
Total commander is gone under "not responding"

and. speed is very slow.. (under 10MB/s on LAN)
( *ps other FTPes is tested 60~80MB/s )

so,

I need some help. or updating.


window7 32bit (kor)
Q8200 cpu
P45 mainboard
4GB ram

Is ist upload or download speed.
It matters, because the settings are different ...

it is download speed
from NAS to my PC

SMB2 speed is 87MB/s

Please verify, that MODE-Z compression is enabled:
Configuration Options - FTP : Compress during transfer (MODE-Z)
