Edit cursor invisible during rename

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Edit cursor invisible during rename

Post by *TheIronWolf »

Hi,

When I press Shift+F6 and try to rename a file or directory, as soon as I press left or right arrow edit cursor disappears.

I spent half an hour to find a solution but couldn't find it. I have some UI changes in my .ini file, so it is probably caused by them.

My version is 8.51a 64bit. OS is Win8.1 64bit. This is happening on both of my computers. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for looking into it. I realized myself what it was:

My background was set to dark gray (second color from the top). I think that makes cursor invisible. That explains why no one complained.

I changed my background color to even darker one and now cursor is visible.

Ah, I see! yes, the cursor color cannot be set within a program, only system wide.
