TC 8.51a no confirmation on del files\non empty folders

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Infector,
When you delete such a folder in Explorer, does it give you a confirmation dialog?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Because TC doesn't delete files with this method; that's why it's called Explorer method.

To be a little more helpful: You need to enable Delete confirmation in Windows (Recycler) to see any confirmation when you use Explorer method in TC.

Yes, please right click on the F8 delete button and open the settings of recycle bin. There is a checkbox which allows to enable confirmation when deleting to recycle bin. You will always get a confirmation when the file is deleted directly.
