the temp folder _TC in not deleted at reboot or new session

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

the temp folder _TC in not deleted at reboot or new session

Post by *Michael REMY »

hi,

i use win7 x64 and tc 8.51a x64.

after many reboot (on several days), i check my temp folder and noticed there are still some _tc contents into the temps folder.

so i guess TC didn't delete it, neither check it at new session, neither at new day session or computer reboot.

have a good day
Mike
i'm an old long user of TC since the windows 3.11 release !, for the history, i came to tc when i migrate from amiga commodore to PC where they are diskmanager and directory opus there.

TC doesn't delete temp files if you terminate TC before the file is no longer needed, so there can be some remaining files in _tc. This is by design so you can recover changed files in the case of a crash.
