Very occasionally I will be typing a command in TC and it looks like I have made a typo, but I haven't.
For example I type a _ and a ? appears instead. It is reproducible.
I restart TC and all is well again.
TC 6.02/6.03, OS is XP and I've only noticed it while typing non-alphanumerics.
Just FYI.

It just reocurred and this is the keyboard mapping - view in a monospaced font. The lower lines are normal keystrokes, and yes Z/Y were interchanged. The Spacebar worked normally
^1234567890abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxzy°!"§$%&/()=?`ß´
`1234567890abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz~!@#$%^&*()_+-=
The characters (^,`,´) in the top row appeared twice, but only after pressing the key concerned twice. Pressing it once had no effect.

Check Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / Languages tab / Text Services and Input Languages.
There you can see the installed keyboard languages.
I think there are more layouts installed, like US English, and International English or similar.
If you remove the unwanted keyboard, Shift Alt will have no effect anymore.
