[b]FTP paramaters to send to host site like Geocities

I built a site and problem with FTP paramaters to send to host site like Geocities

Problem : I built a small site with page #0 as index.hmtl.
Then I tried to use FTP command to host on Geocities unsuccessfully
My paramaters were :
Host name: ftp.Geocities.com
User: Herzli
Password:####
Initial remote directory:/

I missed something
can anybody help me?

Try passive mode, it might help.

Leave the "Initial remote directory" entry just empty. This will automatically point you to your home directory (first directory you have access rights)
