What is the difference between old command cm_RenMov=906;Rename/Move files
and new one cm_MoveOnly=1005;Move (F6)
?
I couldn't get this difference neither from History.txt (02.04.04 Added: Internal command cm_MoveOnly: always opens move to other window dialog) nor from trying these commands by myself.
It prevents inplace editing on a file name, when only one file is selected. A dialog box is shown, the point is that moving the keyboard focus away doesnt cancel the editing.
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!
I Find this text in Panos comments of his extended menu file:
Added new internal command cm_MoveOnly (1005) under the <File> main menu entry. Duplicated shortcut (F6) with <Rename/Move File(s)> entry is intentional.
Quoting Christian: "cm_RenMov works differently when Shift or Ctrl is
pressed, so it cannot be used for hotkeys. For example, setting cm_RenMov to Shift+F12 would invoke inplace renaming instead of moving. cm_MoveOnly will always start the "Move" command, and cm_RenameOnly always the rename command."
His this an answer to your question?
