It seems to happen when unloading pre-loaded strings. Maybe the file is missing one of the pre-load strings like 144 or 145.

None of my .lng files are missing those 2 strings (or any strings for that matter) - and if that were the case they should also fail for me and anybody else not just for luckylittle.
Anyway, a .lng file can in principle contain just the strings you want to alter, for example just one string - isn't that correct.
Do you have any idea why the field "Main menu file:" is empty in luckylittle's screenshot http://oi68.tinypic.com/20582u0.jpg - anyway an empty "Main menu file:" field will just result in the build in menu to be used - not an access violation like this.

I guess that the user's previous language file was missing these strings, because the error happens when trying to unload the previous strings.
