Binary Compare: Only show differences ... solved!

I'm strongly interested in the new feature "Only show differences" (translated from German) in a binary compare. To test this I made a copy of a word file and changed only a sentence in the copied version.
A binary compare with TC 9 showed the difference all right, but setting the switch "Only show differences" resutled in two blank panels - everything white, which is quite unusual in June.
Bug or user error?

TC 9 32bit on Windows 7.

I don't know yet what is wrong - I get out of memory errors with some files, and others work just fine. I will check it.
