Using Web Drives

Post by *Andrew Wilco »

I have access to web drives using windows XP "add a network place" entering the URL, user name and password. However I cannot create new folders with Windows explorer but I can with a trial version of another product.

I can access the web drive and its sub-folders with TC but when I try to create a new folder within a folder it says the folder already exists. But I can't see it. The folder may exist in another folder on the web drive.

Any clues as to what is going on?

I can use another product to create folders but I do not really want to buy another utility.
Best regards

Are you by any chance talking about WebDAV? http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=3857

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

There is no problem with that.

The plugin works. I can create new directories.

Did WebDav come with TC v 6.03a anyway?

No, no plugins are included in the standard distribution of TC.
