[9.0ß1] Missing line in tab-headers

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[9.0ß1] Missing line in tab-headers

Post by *petermad »

When using the parameter: TabHeaderThemed=0 TC9b1 cuts off the black line in the bottom the tab headers.

See: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/tabheaders.png

Maybe the same bug as http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=44212

Actually it's not the bottom of tab headers, but the top of the list window! And it was removed on purpose.

Hmm, I can see why the line is not neede when using themed tab headers, but would it be possible to add the line to the tab header itself for unthemed tab headers? Please...

If you look closely the line which was previously only around the list is now above the headers and below the footer.

I am aware of that, but I would like something more than just the background colors to separate the tabheader/footer from the filepanels - the backgrounds could happen to have the same color - hence another line.

Well, if you look at the Explorer in Windows 10 and details view, there is no line between header and file list either when using the default theme.

And that also what makes it impossible to look at in Windows 10 - in my window 10 the tabheader and the filepanel has the same background color (255,255,255) - see http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/tabheaderTC9W10.png

Also notice that there is no outline of the left side of the tabheader in both panels (this is not the case with TabHeaderThemed=0). This also applies with Window 7 Aero theme.

Also notice that on the left side there is one pixel between the window horder end the left side of file panel - whereas the right side of the right file panel and the window border is in contact (I think this is probably reported elsewhere). It is not just under window 10, but it is not as obvious under Windows 7 Aero theme because of the thicker 3D window borders
