Plugin precedence

Is there a way to define which plugin is preferable to handle a filetype in the case of lister plugins?

Ex: I have ieview and SynPlus installed in my system. Both handle the file type ".xml", but i want that SynPlus handle this kind of filetype prior to ieview. I want oher filtypes to be handled by ieview prior to SynPlus.

Is that possible? Iknow that going to opitons|Image/Multimedia rotates to the next plugin that can handle the filetype and that's why i'm using to select other plugin. Is there a better way?

You can change the order of the plugins in the Lister plugin dialog via the up/down buttons on the bottom left corner.
